Can you get the rash from the dried plant?
In my experience not very likely. sap or the hairs is what has the highest risk of exposure.
The stem looks the same through all stages for GH?
Perfect, thanks! Will help us this spring.
I got wild parsnip all over my arms a couple years ago, it was terrible! I still have weird pigmentation :(
What’s the difference between Wild Parsnip and Wild Parsnip?
Wild parsnip and regular store bought parsnip?
I think he got seeds to grow the vegetable parsnip
Wild Parsnip and Cow Parsnip?
Angelica should be native to NE, not Eurasia in the slide
How does GH cause soil erosion? Shallow roots result in increased soil loss? Thank you!
I planted parsnip for eating and made the mistake of letting some of it flower the next year. When I finally decided to cut it down, I did not think it would be a problem since it was not Wild Parsnip. It turns out that the commercial version sold for gardens to eat, will do the same to you as wild parsnip. I found out a couple of days after cutting it down.
Thanks, Diane. That was definitely an error on that slide
What effect does chemical control have on ground water?
Can you touch on Water Hemlock, as well?
where are you disposing of the flower heads after they are bagged in the sun?
Do you have a plan for landowners that are not cooperative?
is there a similar eradication program for knotweed?
Jo Anne Rocke
thank you so much for clear presentation!
Thank you I learned that a simple root sever will do the job on our Maryland hogweed.
Why wouldn't a landowner not participate? Does it hurt the property to come in and eradicate?
Thank you all for your patience while we worked through some technical issues
and visits from my children!
